Year 1 - 6 Swimming - Term 4

Year 1-6 students will be participating in a Swimming Program conducted at Salt Water Swim School.

The swimming program runs everyday for one week, each session runs for 45 minutes, the program will run over 2 separate weeks from Monday 24th November to Friday 28th November and Monday 8th December to Friday 12th December. 

Approval and payment can be made via Compass by Sunday 19 October.  Unfortunatley, we will not be able to take late enrolments as student numbers for swimming groups need to be finalised with the swimming center. 

Swimming lesson times for each class will be made available once the due date for permission has passed.

The subsidised cost for this event is $25.

Additional Notes to Parents
CSEF plus any credits on your account can be used for this event. Please contact the office on 7300 7100 to use your CSEF or credits.

What to wear & bring
Throughout the swimming program students wear their sports uniform.All students will need to wear their bathers to school under their uniform. If girls are in a one-piece, get them to fold their bathers down to allow toileting and when they get to the pool they can raise their bathers over their shoulders.
 
Please make sure all clothing is named. Students will need to bring a separate bag (not plastic) with:

1. approriate swimming attire
2. a towel, 
3. swimming cap - optional, 
4. goggles - preferred but optional, please ensure they are adjusted to fit 
5. underwear

The bag needs to be big enough to hold a school uniform. On the day the students must wear their runners, as they are walking to and from the pool. It is important that students take responsibility for their own swimming bag and items each day.
