Transitioning to Warreen

Warreen Primary School is committed to providing an exemplary education experience for all students.  We maintain high expectations for our students learning and wellbeing and provide a broad and comprehensive curriculum as well as auxiliary supports to ensure your child achieves their very best.  We have developed a visionary curriculum that reflects a core focus on developing the literacy and numeracy skills of our students and supports academic opportunities in Science, The Arts, Social & Emotional Learning and Physical Education.

Warreen is hosting the following student transition days to support your child’s transition to our school.  On these days students will go into classrooms for transition activities.  Whilst your child is attending these sessions, we have organised parent workshops to occur in the Burrow for parents/carers. 

Please note: It is essential that students attend these sessions as it gives us an opportunity to make initial assessments of your child’s needs and allows our teaching staff to make notes of where your child is best placed for the coming year.  We are unable to provide alternative times beyond those listed below.  If you or your child cannot make these dates, your child will be unable to benefit from the program.
