GETTING STARTED
Government Primary School
If your child is currently in Year 6 at a government primary school:
please download the Year 6 to 7 Placement Information Pack 2025-26.
Use Find My School to locate your local neighbourhood secondary school.
Complete the Application for Year 7 Placement 2026 (found in the Placement Information Pack) and return to your child's primary school by Friday, May 9th 2025.
Non-Government Primary School
If your child is seeking a place at a non-government secondary school in 2026:
please download the Year 6 to 7 Placement Information Pack 2025-26. This includes the application form.
Use Find My School to locate your local neighbourhood secondary school.
Complete the Application for Year 7 Placement 2026 (in the Placement Information Pack) and return to Bemin Secondary College by Friday, May 9th 2025.
Enrolment Timeline
Until May 9, 2025
Enrolment Applications submitted to child's primary school (for government primary students) or Bemin Secondary College (for non-government primary students)
May 9, 2025
Applications for Year 7 Placement 2026 close.
July 1, 2025
Families will receive notification of the child's Year 7 placement offer.
By August 12, 2025
Families must return the Year 7 Placement Acceptance Slip to their child's primary school (for government primary students) or Bemin Secondary College (for non-government primary students)
December 9, 2025
Goverment schools (Bemin Secondary School) will host a Year 7 2026 Orientation Day for all students commencing Year 7 next year.
